ENME Director’s and Creator’s Spotlight at Sundance

Ericka funds, produces, and hosts the Ericka Nicole Malone Indie Directors and Creators Spotlight in Park City, UT during the Sundance Film Festival. It is the only fully independently funded event of its kind during the festival. It celebrates the accomplishments of creatives of color with past participants including award winning individuals such as, Ruth Carter, Robi Reed, Ken Whittingham, Wendy Raquel Robinson, Vanessa Estelle Williams, and Tabitha Brown, to name a few.

Ericka Nicole Malone Entertainment’s “Indie Director’s and Creator’s Spotlight” is an invitation only event that celebrates diversity in filmmaking and a day of education, inspiration, and entertainment. Hollywood veterans and creative newcomers will come together in an elegant yet comfortable environment to network and explore exciting collaborations amidst the diverse and multicultural filmmaker community.

In 2025 attendees can look forward to powerful panels and conversations with award winning participants and experienced entertainment veterans who will share their truths and insight, while offering varied perspectives on navigating the creative, business, and financial ups and downs of filmmaking.

In addition to traditional filmmaker programming the “Indie Director’s and Creator’s Spotlight” will offer delicious gourmet bites, warm delectable beverages, cocktails, mocktails, gifting, and free-flowing sounds by a world-renowned DJ. The day will conclude with a live music Neo-Soul Lounge, featuring chart topping artists such as SWV, Angie Stone, Dwele, Kindred the Family Soul, Printz Board, Mali Music, Keith Robinson, Sha’leah Nikole and Alfred Jackson.
